My Favorite Lounge Romper

Hello Lovelies!!
Can you believe it is already Thursday?
It is so good to be back with an OOTD post. I feel like I have been gone for so long. I am in desperate need to get back into my blogging schedule.
Anyway, I want to talk about a few things today...
First things first, three weeks ago I got a Keratin treatment. Ok, I am sure you have heard me complain about my hair in many previous posts. I have very course, very thick, curly (kinda), frizzy hair. In my younger years I wore my hair curly much more frequently, but now I almost always blow it out. On average the process of blow drying takes about and hour and 15. It is exhausting!! I do not have central air, so in the Summer it is exceptionally hot. Also, here in the northeast, our Summers are extremely humid, especially near the coast. I blow dry, step outside and almost immediately it grows dramatically. In my early twenties I did a hair show where they 'relaxed' my hair. I was told It would be smooth, shiny and straight. After my first wash it went right back to frizzy and big. About five years ago I got a keratin treatment at a very reputable salon, the end result was the same. I figured I just had very difficult, stubborn hair. I absolutely hate when my hair does not look it's best, and after my first weekend at the beach on Memorial Day, I knew I needed to try something new. My hair stylist and friend suggested another Keratin treatment. You can imagine my skepticism having it not work two previous times. He explained much like other things over time they are perfected. So before I flew off to California and the real start of the Summer, I threw caution to the wind and went for it. GUYS... It is amazing!! It has changed the texture and shine of my hair, cut my blow dry time in half, and zero frizz!! I have been out on humid evenings on decks and boats and it has not frizzed at all. I strongly suggest keratin to anyone who has a problem with frizz. It is worth every penny!
Next... to any of you who live in Massachusetts or the Boston area, please do your self a favor and visit Boston Burger Company. I consider myself a burger connoisseur, and I was so pleased. The menu is vast with delicious and inventive burgers, even one after Elvis named 'The King' with peanut butter and bananas. I made a terrific choice and went with the Killer bee. Bacon, American cheese and a pile of onion rings to resemble a bee hive drizzled with BBQ sauce... divine!
And last, but certainly not least, my favorite romper. I have had this romper for a few years now, and it is on repeat constantly. My go-to. I might venture a guess that I wear it at least once a week. It is made of super light jersey material, extremely comfy and can be dressed up or down. After the beach, hanging out with friends or to chow down on a delish burger I always find an occasion for this romper.
Hope you all have a fantastic (frizz free) weekend!
xx, Elise
