Columbus Day Casual

Thursday, October 6, 2016 4:30 AM

Happy Thursday!
Who is excited for the Columbus Day Holiday?? I am super excited to have an extra day off.  The past few weeks have been nuts with family birthdays, so a long weekend to rest, rejuvenate and recharge before next weekend where I have a super fun getaway planned.

Here in the Northeast Columbus Day Weekend is THE weekend we all leave peep, pumpkin and apple pick.  Usually my family goes to Tangerini Farm, pick and decorate pumpkins, enjoy a fresh farmers market,  and go on a tractor pull hayride. Needless to say it is a super casual weekend.

I got these olive moto leggings at Nordstorm a few weeks back, and I am embarrassed how many times I have already worn them.  Seriously though, they are super comfy and the moto detail give them a little edge.

How will you celebrate your long weekend?

xx, Elise

  3. I never heard of anyone who had off for Columbus Day unless they were a banker or a post office worker, but enjoy! Maybe it's a bigger holiday in the northeast, here it's just another day. I LOVE the burgundy cardigan with olive pants. I will have to try this look myself.

  13. I never thought of olive leggings, but I need to look for these! I have black leggings I wear a lot, but a trendy color would be fun, too! I am looking forward to Columbus Day, too with the kids home!

  34. If I owned those legging I would be wearing them daily as well so nothing to be embarrassed about . . . in fact I just might be heading to Nordstroms as soon as I'm finished here. Thanks for the style inspiration.
