Kimono, Duster or Cape

Thursday, October 11, 2018 3:30 AM

Happy Thursday loves!
I am finally back from Nashville after delayed flights, arriving home in the wee hours of the morning  and my son coming down with strep. WELCOME HOME!
I will give you all the fun details on my Nashville trip in a future post, it was amazing!

My first day back at work was yesterday, Wednesday and all day I thought it was Monday. I also linked up with my favorite Monday bloggers... two days late. Forgive me, I am in desperate need of the weekend to recoup.

The one thing I will tell you about Nashville, is they were experiencing a heat wave.
So before I left I had to reevaluate all the looks I had mentally cataloged in my brain.
I shifted from a lot of distressed jeans and leather jacket looks to light sundresses and kimonos.
I have worn this kimono so many ways, for example this post when I styled it as a cover-up.  After the sun went down on a 90 degree day it was just a perfect layer to wear to an evening concert.

I call this a kimono, some call them dusters & my friend calls them capes...
what do you call them?

Have an awesome weekend!

xx, Elise

  5. No matter what you call it, it's a beautiful piece to layer with! :) I tend to call long kimonos dusters but I think the name doesn't really matter :)

Hope that you are having a great week :)
