Good Morning! 

 I can't believe it is already Wednesday!  Where has this week gone?

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and a Happy Easter to all those who celebrated.

Much like myself, my son loves the warm weather and loves to be outside. If it were up to him he would wear shorts everyday, even in the dead of the winter.  Unfortunately we do not live in Southern California, so we have a rule, if it is below 50 degrees (it used to be 60 degrees, but pick your battles right??) he can not wear shorts. I also abide by that rule in certain ways. I can not be overly Spring-y with temps in the 40s.  Yes we had an unseasonably warm February and beginning of March, but we have gotten back to regular temperatures here in the Northeast making it a little too early to be sporting florals, pastels and white denim just yet.

I know I scour blogs and Pinterest trying to find looks that are suitable for this weather, so I figured why not post about what I am wearing at this very moment, in New England where it hasn't quite become super warm yet.

I have a few shirt dresses and have found they are perfect for every season.  In the cooler months paired with opaque tights and OTK boots, and in the Summer simply with gladiators, mine have proven to be perfect transition pieces.

Good Morning Dolls!  

I am so excited for the weekend!  I am really looking forward to celebrating Easter as well as getting outside and being active. My goal this Spring and Summer is to try and knock out some of these hikes.  As a part of my bigger goal of being on a physical and financial diet, hikes and outdoor activities 

1. Allow you to enjoy the weather

2. Engage you in healthy physical activity

3. Are easy on the wallet as you (I) are (am) not shopping. ;) 

I know you have heard me go on and on about the weather, but truly this is the earliest I can remember ever enjoying Spring.  While I am a little envious of people that are already enjoying shorts and sandal weather, I can not complain that I have been hiking in a tank top and at the most wearing a light sweater or jacket.

This coat from NewChic is the perfect weight for this time of year.  Light and roomy enough to layer  something underneath or to wear simply over a tee.

I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend. Spring is my absolute favorite time of the year! Are people still complaining how they are dragging from that one hour loss of sleep from day light savings? Really?  One hour?  Go to bed earlier, or wake up an hour later... problem solved.  I have never felt the effects of the dreaded hour.  Maybe it is because, like I said, it is my favorite time of the year and I am riding a super high on life.  The days are longer, I can enjoy a little more outdoor time after work, and it means the dreaded never ending Winter is nearing an end, what is not to be psyched about?   We did wake up to some snow yesterday morning, but by the afternoon it was well into the 40s and melting.

THIS is pretty much exactly how I feel every year when we enter Spring!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

I have always loved Saint Patrick's Day.  Having grown up in Boston and being (1/2) Irish it is been fun to celebrate that part of my heritage and have some Irish pride for at least one day a year. The parade isn't until Sunday, but I will still be enjoying a few drinks with friends tonight, limiting myself to only one Irish Car Bomb of course.

I have been so in love with these boyfriend jeans lately. I am sure you have noticed them on repeat.  They are just so comfy, and paired with this embellished sweatshirt and old bomber it's perfect for a casual hang with friends.

Good Tuesday Morning Lovelies!

I hope you all had am amazing weekend!  I know I seem to always be talking about the weather, but lately it has been hard not to.  It has been absolutely GORGEOUS in New England, perfect in fact.  I had so much outdoor time with a two mile hike, and three mile walk just on Sunday.  I just could not be inside.  It is not technically Spring yet, but I can not remember the last time I wore a jacket.  During the warmer months, I love wearing dresses and jumpsuits.  Usually both can be dressed up or down and are very versatile. I have yet to meet a jumpsuit I haven't liked, and this one was no exception.  Lightweight, and super comfortable, perfect for work or hanging out with friends. I just love it!
