I am heading out of town this evening for an long weekend with some friends. I am so excited to hang, relax and be in the sunshine.  That being said I probably won't be posting until midweek, next week. Although I can schedule posts, I really like to give 100%  to this blog, other blog friends and followers.  So for the next six day's ' I'll be somewhere on a beach, sippin' something strong'

Good Morning Lovelies!!  

It is no secret that chambray is a staple in almost every season, and I simply love it! If you read my blog regularly you know that I often incorporate chambray in many looks.  I have yet to find a chambray anything that I don't love. It is the perfect casual fabric that you can dress up or down.  

This is such a perfect dress. Very light weight, second to wearing nothing, perfect for hot humid New England Summer days!

This week totally escaped me.  So much going on in the world and in my life I hardly had time to get any post together. So I will keep it rather light and happy.

I don't wear yellow nearly enough. It is a warm, lovely color that truly makes me feel sunny and  joyful. I am in love with this top, I have had it for a few seasons and it is a Summer go to for sure.

Good Tuesday Morning...

It seems so silly, or callous to be posting an outfit of the day without acknowledging the horribly violent massacre in Orlando this past weekend. It angers me tremendously that such horrific tragedies happen, but moreover the aftermath that goes along with it.  The finger pointing, the political agendas, the blame game.  This is a time as Americans we should come together and recognize that regardless of your color or creed, what happened in Orlando was an awful, senseless tragedy, as was Newtown, San Bernardino, Aurora and many, many others. We are so hung up on who was targeted and who pointed the gun to execute the killings, but what it boils down to is 50 American lives were lost, and 53 Americans were injured, by another American born man. What is the Answer? How do we stop these mass shootings, and hate toward one another?  

On Sunday night as I watched the TONY awards honoring the best of Broadway I was so moved by the acceptance speech of Mr. Lin-Manuel Miranda...

I have a CRAZY weekend a head of me filled with dinners, drinks, and dance recitals! All fun stuff, I can't wait! 

I have loved the palm print trend since it burst on the scene last year, it just screams Summer and vacation to me!  When I saw this Mara Hoffman tropical palm print dress, I had to make it mine.  With it's  really simple shapeless line it is perfect to throw on after a day in the sun, just as I did here. 

As you can see, I got WAY too much sun (Rodan Fields 50 SPF will review to follow) and the thought of putting on clothes that actually touched me was horrifying. This dress is light and airy and was an excellent choice.

Do you know about Eva Jo rompers? It is no secret that I love all things jumpsuit/romper/play suit.  They give such a complete finished look, and it's one and done. Slip it on, and out the door. 

Last fall I stumbled upon Eva Jo on Insta.  I instantly fell in love with the simplicity of these rompers. 

Wanting to steer away from the usual black I usually gravitate to, I chose the Sylvie romper in royal blue.  Guys, when I  tell you this is the best romper, I mean it.  The cotton modal is the perfect weight and hangs just right. I have already worn this romper so many times, and different each time. 

Today I chose a simple gladiator and a hat to round out this look...
