Yay, It's Thursday!

When the weather gets warmer I live in dresses, they are so easy. This Free People dress has been one of my favorites, perfectly light weight and it's bright embroidery makes it so easy to style.

With the long weekend, this short work week has flown. Starting this evening I will be in dance show mode.  I always love dance show weekends, they are stressful but super fun and always end with a party.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and for those in the US, a wonderful long weekend.

Mine was fantastic, BBQs and hangs with life long friends. 

The weather started off beautiful and then took a major turn for the worse, fortunately in our sleepy cape cod town there are plenty of boutiques and restaurants to visit. We also have the most amazing TJ Maxx ever, I'm convinced. There is a TJ's down the street where I live closer to the city, but it is just not as fabulous. Whenever I am, at the beach, I do a TJ's run and it is always successful. 

Usually I don't write about my maxxinista finds, because I usually cannot find links online to my fabulous finds.  Cloth and Stone is a label usually found in stores like Anthropologie,  their clothes are so comfy, practical and adorable. I saw this piece from the corner of my eye and ran to it. Three of my favorite things, a blush, striped jumpsuit... yes please!! I will be living in this jumpsuit all summer.

I have linked similar comfy, casual jumpsuits because unfortunately I was unable to find this exact one. I strongly suggest you run (don't walk) to TJ Maxx and purchase this cozy piece, it is what dreams are made of!

Did any of you listen to the Yanny / Laurel soundbite?
My co-workers and I polled everyone that walked in and out of our office, including the postal and UPS workers. We were all split. I heard Yanny all day long, but in the evening I couldn't stop hearing Laurel!  What did you hear?

When the warm weather hits, beer gardens open all over the city. Such a fun way to spend some time outside, right? I had plans to go on Saturday, but it looks like Mother Nature may throw a wrench in our plans and make it cold and rainy. Boston is such a fun city in the Spring and Summer, not so much if the weather is crumby. 

Any suggestions from other Bostonians? 

I have always loved an all white look, but I have never quite been able to pull it off and not for lack of trying. There is something so clean and fresh with an all white look and with spring here, I thought I would attempt it once again. 

How do you feel about an all white look?

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and to all of the mama bears, I hope you had a fantastic Mother's Day.   

I got to celebrate Mother's Day with my extraordinary mother and another extraordinary mom, my sister.  Along with my niece, we went to a paint bar, it was our first time. My mom went in expecting to come out with a Picasso with hopes of hanging her masterpiece on the wall of her newly renovated kitchen.... LOL!!  Although we all had a blast, I am not sure we are ready to put our works of art on display anytime soon. 

This is my third jumpsuit post in a row! What can I say, this girl loves a jumpsuit! 

This floral target number is light weight and flowy and just perfect for Spring weather.
