When I say TGIF eve, I could not mean it any more!!
This week has been crazy!
My work place is moving into a brand new building, and moving day is Monday. It has been such a long time in the making, over two years since the bidding and plans were approved. While I am super excited to move into a new, state of the art facility, I can't help but being a little sad leaving my old office. I have been here for 17 years!!! I have been here through new boyfriends, a marriage, I brought my puppy with me when she was little, and then my infant son, through divorces and friendships. Ugh, I am overwhelmed with emotion.
I have been up to my eyeballs, packing crates and sending out 'We've MOVED' letters, so I am beyond excited to be relaxing in Newport this weekend. Although I was raised summering, and still continue to summer on Cape Cod, I almost always make at least one excursion per summer to Newport, RI. If you have ever been, you know exactly why. The beaches are among the most beautiful, the mansions, the restaurants and the shopping are all renowned and wonderful. Fingers crossed that we have good weather.
I am not usually a Lilly Pulitzer girl, generally it is too preppy and colorful for my taste.
But two things I can rarely say no to, are rompers and metallics, so when I saw this royal romper with metallic gold swaths and beading, it had to be mine!
What can you not resist?
