Style Your Man

Is there anything more attractive than a guy with personal style?

I mean other than a fantastic personality, funny as hell, confident enough to compliment you, self aware, can admit when he is wrong, isn't self absorbed, intelligent, but smart enough to know he does not know everything and you can learn from everyone, is loving, caring and really takes a vested interest in you...next to all of THAT is where personal style falls.  I know, I know, it sounds like a unicorn, or a white buffalo rather because they actually DO exist.

Well if your guy falls into most of those categories and may be lacking in the style column, here are a few staples and tips he may need in his wardrobe.

xx, Elise

Staples:
1. Plain white, grey and black tees
When you think you have enough, get more.

2. Jeans
You need at least one pair of dark denim that you can cuff. Uniqlo is great for basics and inexpensive

3. Flannels
As previously stated I am a fan of buffalo plaid, but you can never have enough. Buttoned, layered, wrapped around your waist. Scotch plaid is another good one
LL Bean
Woolrich
AEO

4. At least one white oxford shirt

5. Cords
Because you can't always wear jeans

6. Utility jacket
Layered under a parka or by it self, a staple no doubt
Some available at Nordstrom

7. Boots
These are so fantastic I want them for myself

9. Vest
Either beige or brown and or grey or black

10. Chambray shirt
