Product Review: John Frieda Frizz Ease

I love Summer, it is by far my favorite of the four seasons. Unfortunately with the Summer months comes high humidity and lots of rain storms, which for a girl with curly (totally frizzy) hair it can be very challenging.
I have tried almost every anti-frizz serum, spray, gel, oil, and keratin, all price ranges, all brands.  Most of them work wonderfully in perfect weather conditions, usually cutting down on blow dry time, but the minute the first drop falls or the percentage of humidity rises above 35%, all deals are off. I have found nothing works.  Last week was an extreme challenge for my hair. While we were experiencing high heat and humidity, I was also vacationing on Cape Cod which even on a good day we are looking at a humidity rate at about 75%.  I was working the tail end of a blow dry and I was noticing the halo had begun..  I knew I would have to wash and be curly for the rest of the week. No Blow out, serum, or flat iron was any match for the amount of moisture in the air.  I used the shampoo and conditioner already in the shower. John Frieda Smooth Start, it claimed to 'eliminate frizz'!  ELIMINATE FRIZZ!!!  A very bold statement.  I'll be the judge of that.

I have to say, I was a fan right off the bat. I enjoyed the texture and the weight of the conditioner.  Just out of the shower my hair was very soft, and heavy.  While my hair was wet, I used my regular hair care regimen of serums and leave in conditioners.  While this John Frieda shampoo and conditioner definitely did not eliminate the frizz, it definitely took it down a few notches. My curls seemed bigger, softer, and with less fly aways.  I have to say over all I was very pleased with the outcome.
