Happy Tuesday!! 

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I enjoyed my 'staycation' in the city. The weather was absolutely phenomenal, perfect for wandering around with no agenda. We tried to go to Eataly, but the wait was far too long and after paying $42 for two glasses of wine while wandering and eying the goods, we decided to nix those dinner plans.  

The temps are getting warmer and we are transitioning in Spring with lighter colors and layers. Blush is certainly one of the many popular soft hued colors for the season. Like most of you, I can not get enough of this feminine color. Give me all the pastels! Blush along with mint, and robin's egg are infiltrating so many store front windows and Spring collections. I have found that when I like something, I really like it and totally wear it out. I keep buying blush sweaters and I can't stop. They only have subtle differences, so it is almost like I am wearing the same outfit over and over.

Yay it's Thursday, and MY Friday! WOO!! 

Heading into the city tonight for a little stay-cation and I could not be more excited! Absolutely loving the weather, it has been so mild.  I know I am jumping the gun a bit, but I am so ready for light jackets and spring layers.

Happy Tuesday Lovelies!! 

I feel like the past couple of weeks I have been ranting about being sick and the cold weather. Seriously, in a month I have had the stomach bug twice and the nasty cold/cough going around. Also, to add insult to injury I broke my nose! A result of head butting the bathroom door (unintentionally of course). I suppose that would more literally be adding injury to insult. Anyway, I have been feeling on the up and up and this weekend's weather was phenomenal! 

I know there is snow on the ground and it looks as though I should be cold in these photos, I can assure you it was beautiful. In the mid 60s, and while coming off the Summer it may feel cool, having it as one of our first Spring like days it felt downright balmy.   

I love color and the latest rends, but truth be told I feel my most comfortable in black and grey.

Happy Friday Eve! 

Have I been complaining too much about the weather?  

We have had quite a few snow days recently, and while I enjoy down time, I go a little stir crazy when I am stuck in the house.  We had people over, made valentines, watched movies and played football.  While I don't love being snowed in, I do love being cozy. These days I have been living in variations of this outfit. Some days joggers, other days leggings...you get the idea.

Happy Valentine's Day! 

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I saw a few movies, and celebrated Valentines early. 

It was a fun filled weekend even though we got snow dumped on us for the second time in four days.  With more snow in the forecast for this week, I could not be looking forward to Spring any more than I am right now.  It is no secret I despise the winter so I have planned some weekends away into March to help this time fly by faster.   

How about those Grammy awards? What were your favorite moments? 

I read so many style blogs and magazines and right now every one is posting for Spring. 

The Northeast is still so far away from Spring, but I am trying to bring in lighter colors, fabrics and textures.
