Happy Thursday!
I refuse to accept that the Summer is coming to a close, it seriously just began. I can not remember another Summer that went by this quickly, and it seems everyone is feeling this Summer has been speedy. Maybe because the weather was terrible all June, maybe it is because the weather ALL Summer has not been ideal, but whatever the reason, it is flying. I know in so many places it stays warm throughout the Fall but here in the Northeast, it gets colder sooner and stays longer, So I am trying to enjoy every second.
In addition to Summer ending, I overheard people discussing how we are more than half way through 2017! What the what? School starts in three weeks, then it will be Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, then 2018! I have anxiety thinking about it!
I know since the NSale, people have been showing Autumn pieces and looks. I am going to hold off a little longer on Super Autumn posts. I am having an issue with acceptance and can not deal with the season change. I will still be posting some Summer looks, as well as 'Now and Later' posts, and like today, a layering post. Even when the day time temps still soar to the high eighties, as we crawl through Autumn, the mornings and evenings tend to be cooler.
I am in love with the 'paper bag pants' trend. I think they are flattering on almost everyone, comfy, easy and so chic. I styled this look super simple with a layering kimono because I think the pants speak for themselves.
What are some trends you are loving right now?
xx, Elise

Jord has great watches. You look great! Time flies, doesn't it? I can't believe summer is almost over too. I love that bag. I got mine from Cult Gaia almost 1.5 years ago when there was this huge wait list and I'm glad it's still so trendy.
