Happy Thursday Loves!
I say it every.damn.week, but thank GOD it is almost the weekend. I am so ready for the weekend!
I only have a few things on the agenda, I am getting my hair cut and colored. So yay!! That being said, I am in a conundrum of what to do. I am kind of just over my hair, but I know if I cut it, it will just be a countdown of how long it takes me to grow back out again.
I am taking suggestions, so PLEASE if you have any throw them my way!
Also, my entire family is going to a screening of the new movie Wonder. My nephew was born with a craniofacial condition. We are so lucky to live in a city like Boston, where he has had access to amazing Dr.s that have performed live changing surgeries. As a family every year we walk and raise money for a great charity Paces for Faces . Their mission is to provide patients and families with the most accurate, up-to-date, and accessible information about facial conditions,
and to advocate for the best care possible for children with facial conditions. Throughout the year they host events for the families affected by these conditions, this screening of Wonder is one of them. I am especially excited because this was one of the Summer reading books Nolan and I read.
This Look
One of my biggest pet peeves is not coordinating a jacket or coat to finish a look. I remember in my early twenties looking at girls out at bars and clubs wearing dresses only to be covered in a north face fleece...NO! The wrong coat or jacket can really ruin a look, as can the right one create or make a look. Over the years I have kept a lot of my clothes simple white experimenting with my outer wear.

This brings me to my starry bomber. The deep rich peacock color is what originally caught my eye, but the quilted star print and stripe of metallic glitter on the cuff really sealed the deal. Simply styled with a tee and distressed jeans, it is a cute and practical mid-fall look!
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
Again, open to any and all hair suggestions, please and thank you!
xx, Elise

That starry bomber is so cute and I wouldn't have noticed the stars if you hadn't included some detail shots. My son is going to see Wonder on Tuesday! 4th-8th grade at his school is going to a field trip to the theater to see it, they've all read it in class. It is a great book, I read it a couple years ago.
