Happy Thursday lovelies!
I think if you looked in my closet three years ago, you may have found, strewn amongst the heels and booties maybe two pair of sneakers. A pair or running sneakers for working out, and a pair of nike hightops with snake skin detail (insert heart eye emoji here). As previously stated in my althleisure post (here) I have never been one for dressing down, wearing workout clothes, or being caught dead in sneakers, not at least since high school. In the past few years I have developed quite the collection of sneakers, maybe it is my age, but I am super into being comfy. From Chucks to Stan Smiths or Vans slip-ons to Gazelles I am all about being comfortable and stylish.
I was in 6th grade when I got my first pair of Sambas and boy did I love them. Of course back then, I was wearing them with umbro shorts and soccer tees, but they were all the rage and absolutely the sneakers to own.
Now, whether it is with joggers and a tee or jeans and a button down, these sneakers can make any look chic.
Do you have a favorite pair of sneakers or tennis sneakers?
xx, Elise

ReplyDeleteTennis shoes are so comfy to wear and it's great that they are trending because they are the easiest to throw on and go!

Super, super cute Elise. I know I fished over this outfit on IG but I wanted to hop on over to see more. I’m with you on weary no sneakers out on the town but now that the style are so cute, how can we resist. Let’s face it, you would be cute in Umbria shorts as well but this outfit is trendy, cool all the way!
ReplyDeleteI was the same way up until about a year ago, and now I can't get enough pairs of sneaks <3
