Guys, one week from today and it is the 4th!!
I can not wait for next week, to just relax unwind and hang at at the beach. My absolute favorite time of year! Fireworks, cookouts, biking and lounging at the beach are my jam.
Usually by this time I have posted multiple Fourth of July looks and recipes for fun and festive recipes, but i just have not had the time this year.
These past few weeks have been so crazy with the end of school, and everything that goes along with that, a Bar Mitzva, an out of town baby shower to celebrate one of my besties and all of this without my two helpers. My parents have been in Italy for 18 days celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Can you even believe that?!? FIFTY YEARS!!!
What an accomplishment!
Hopefully we will all be able to celebrate at the beach over the Fourth!
I fell in love with this adorable Vineyard Vines dress, it was so perfect for this patriotic holiday! And, how adorable are these crab earrings from Bauble Bar for Target?
Thank God it's almost Friday!
We leave for the beach tomorrow, and I can not wait!
When I am at the beach over the fourth, I like to have a bunch of patriotic looks. Whether it is subtle, like my blue maxi look from last week, or this over the top red, white and blue, star top and bomb pop bag, I am almost always fully holiday coordinated. I mean seriously though, how adorable is this bag?
I love the 4th, because it means the beach, fireworks, BBQs, and my oldest friends and family,
what is your favorite part of the 4th?
xx, Elise
Happy Tuesday Loves!
There is just a little over a week left before our Nation's Birthday and
I have compiled a few of my favorite decorations to really pop off your fourth!
I have almost everything in order, as we are headed to the beach on Friday and will stay throughout the Fourth.
There is still time left to order fun and patriotic themed party decorations.
What are your Independence Day plans?

4th of July Sangria
Serves: 1 pitcher
Ingredients
- 4 cups or 1 bottle (750 mL is close enough to 4 cups...) favorite white wine, suggest Riesling
- 2 cups flavored soda water (I used raspberry/blackberry)
- 1 ounce Triple Sec
- ½ ounce simple syrup (1:1 sugar to water, heated and then cooled), optional for sweeter sangria
- 1 cup strawberries, frozen
- 1 cup blueberries
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in carafe/pitcher.
- You can leave fruit out until serving, if desired. Strawberries may cloud sangria if left overnight.
- Chill and serve very cold over ice.
- Enjoy!
Happy Thursday!
Only two weeks away from July 4th, for sure my favorite holiday!
The next few posts will be patriotic and Americana themed ranging from subtle to all out stars and stripes.
Nolan is out of school and our Summer has officially begun!
Most of the parties are over, but we are kicking off the Summer with a jam packed weekend.
A Red Sox game Friday night, Canobie Lake Park all day Saturday and what we have been waiting for for months, Jurassic World on Sunday! I am tired just thinking about it!
What are your plans for the weekend?
xx, Elise
Good Morning Lovelies and Happy Summer!!!
Who
says you need stars and stripes to be patriotic? This Zaful Gingham top
is just perfect for any 4th of July parade, BBQ or party and it is only $20!!!
So the weather has been crazy everywhere! Here is the northeast the humidity has been at an all time high, and I have been ill prepared. Thankfully, this weekend I am getting my Summer keratin treatment and on Sunday we are heading out to take in a Red Sox game, the weather is supposed to be perfect and I could not be more excited!
What are your plans for the first weekend of Summer?
