Good Thursday morning ladies and welcome December! 

Normally on my Thursday post I would be super enthusiastic about the weekend, but I am so tired and feeling slightly under the weather.  I am already feeling the stresses of the holidays.  Although it is only December 1st my weekends and shopping time has been escaping me. Every weekend from now until Christmas is completely booked. This weekend, I have my dance show. Two rehearsals and two shows.  Next weekend I am teaching dance classes and then off to a birthday party. With football banquets, concerts and holiday parties my schedule is full. AAAH! 

 Sure, I love to go to the malls during the holiday season. Taking in the decor and feeling the hustle and bustle of the crowds, but truth be told, I hate lines and do most of my shopping online.  

I mean we all love a deal, but the idea of black Friday is a living hell for me, no thank you.     

I prefer Cyber Monday.  What's great is most of the Cyber Monday deals last through Christmas. The best coupon tool of the season for me is for sure Ebates. Are you familiar?

I got this skirt at Madewell on sale a while back. I paid $13 for it in store! $13!!

I believe it was a Summer skirt, but it was screaming holiday to me.

Good Morning! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

 The Holiday Season is officially in full swing and I couldn't be happier. Although stressful, this is one of my favorite times of year.  I got a jump on some shopping and spent some quality time with family. 

I can not go without mentioning that today is my niece Camille's 16th Birthday. 16 Years ago I was living in Los Angeles when my sister had the first of the six grandchildren.  A few weeks after she was born I came home for Christmas and got to spend a month with her. It was love at first sight. After returning to LA and unsure I would ever be able to love another little as much Camille, I decided to return to the east coast for good. I didn't want to miss a second of her growing up. In the past 16 years I have watched this perfect little girl turn into a beautiful young woman.  Her love for animals, loyalty to family and friends, tremendous sense of humor, intelligence and beauty are unparalleled and I am proud and privileged to be her Aunty EE.  She is my amazing photographer and one of my best friends and I can not imagine my life without her.

On to this look.  I am a huge fan of mixing patterns. A floral and a plaid, stripes and animal prints, whatever it may be I think layering and mixing prints adds depth to a look.

Good Morning Everyone! 

Well we have made it, it is the week of Thanksgiving.  I love Christmas, but there is something about Thanksgiving that makes it my absolute favorite. Maybe because there is no pressure surrounding gifts, and it is just about spending quality time with family and eating really great food. I don't know, but I love it! 

While everything is far from perfect and I have had a few more stresses in my life recently, I am very fortunate and have tons to be thankful for.
