Falling Backward

What is it about a time change that completely screws my inner clock? I mean I am pretty sure that I slept right through it, and I got an extra hours sleep, so why do I have such a hard time adjusting?
If you have ever read my blog, you will know that to say I am not fond of the Winter months would be a vast understatement. I love sun! The warmth of it, the way it guides me to and from work from March through October. Currently it is dark in the morning, and when I drive home from work... it can be depressing.... very depressing. In the morning when I crawl out of bed, feet hitting the icy floor, all I want to do is be warm and comfy. I like to pick out, or at least get an idea of what I will wear the following day, but sometimes the dark and cold mornings put the kibosh on that and I look for comfort. Leggings, layers, sweaters, boots, etc.
What are your go to comfort clothes?

ReplyDeleteThe hardest part for me is staying motivated to to to the gym after work! It's dark and I would rather eat chocolate and watch tv :) Cute boots!

Super cute + cozy, lady.
ReplyDeleteI'm having a tough time adjusting to Daylight Savings right now- I look at the clock and it's only 6:00, but it's pitch black outside and feels like 9:00! Ha.

Winter can be really distressing, finding a way to make yourself feeling comfy but still stylish can take much time, and layering is really challenging! Well, my comfort clothes for the coming season, it can be a tunic and a pants topped with a hooded puffer coat and of course who would forget the booties! so what do you think??
ReplyDeleteI love the poncho sweater and the boots! They are both very unique pieces. Thank you for adding your stylish point of view to the My Refined Style linkup!
