Put It On and Go!

Good morning lovelies! When I was a child before I knew what 'fashion' was or meant, I absolutely hated clothes and shopping. HATED! Constantly being dragged to stores by my older sister and mom, trying things on... ugh it was a nightmare. They were both the cause of my aversion to shopping, but also exposed me to the world of fashion. My sister, an art student was always ridiculously creative with her clothing choices, and well my mom was always dressed to the nines. Get up, dress up, show up and never give up, was one of the motto's I adopted. Toward the end of my high school experience I began to enjoy dressing. It was something I had complete creative control of and was able to express myself through my own individual style. My utter loathing for all things fashion related had morphed into a mini obsession that over the years would flourish into a full blown addiction. :) I am by no means a fashion innovator, but I enjoy being some what daring. Sometimes I hear, 'Wow, I would have never thought to wear something like that.' or 'I could never pull that off', my answer to that is, 'Put it on and walk out the door!'. Don't look in the mirror a hundred times, and don't second guess yourself. Which is EXACTLY what I did with these harem pants. Did I slightly feel like Justin Bieber or MC Hammer? Sure, but I put them on, walked out the door, and liked the end result.

Faux Shearling Vest- Velvet
