Pink Ruffle Dress

Happy Thursday!! 

It always seems as soon as the warm weather happens, my social calendar explodes. 
With work, dance, bridal and baby showers, birthdays, shows and parties, my dance card is full! 
Nothing makes me happier than being busy with all fun things, but mama needs things to wear! 
This weekend alone, I have three events! 

I got this dress from at Nora Cora, and online shop I saw on insta.
BIG mistake...HUGE!
I ordered four items at the beginning of January for a trip I was taking mid February.
They did not arrive for my trip.
I inquired about my order status and they sent me a fake tracking number. 
After a few more weeks, I got an email they were out of one item and I would be refunded.
Guess what? I wasn't.
Many weeks later I got two items that were so minute, they would not fit my 12 year old niece. 
10 weeks later I got this dress. My thoughts are, MEH. The fabric is not at all like it was advertised, the slit extremely high, the front is exceptionally low, and the arm holes are HUGE!! 
If I were in a pinch, I could probably pull it off but I feel exposed and not comfortable.

    Oh my gosh, what a horrible experience!! I just ordered a dress for my birthday and it looks NOTHING like the picture (I took a chance and had a gut feeling it would be a fake dress, which it was). So i get it! But still such a pretty dress on you :)

    It's so true! It seems that when the gorgeous Spring weather arrives everyone wants me to do something or other.
    I'm sorry to read of your online shopping travails in trying to order and obtain outfit pieces in sizes that fit in a timely manner if at all - and about your having been a victim of deception and fraud.
    Despite everything, you look absolutely gorgeous wearing that pink ruffle dress - and the photos of you modelling it are fabulous!!!

    Eeeek sorry to hear about the issues with your order! The dress looks incredible though - but I see what you mean about the slit being VERY high. I'd feel uncomfortable if I was wearing it anywhere else but the beach I think!
    I ordered my first online clothes from Zaful recently and even though I ordered small the dresses drown me which is so sad... and the one that can actually work if I match it with a waste belt leaked color all over my other clothes even after I washed it separately a number of times to be safe! :(

    Oy vey- some of these insta-boutiques are absolute NIGHTMARES. I'm sorry this happened to you- although you are true pro, because you pulled this dress off like a champ! Gorgeous on you, but I totally know what you mean about being able to fake it for a shoot, but the item doesn't work in real life. Such a bummer!

    I am so picky when it comes to online shopping boutiques. I've heard of so many horror stories like this one. I think the color is gorgeous on you and the shape of the dress is beautiful too. I totally understand about being overly exposed in something and maybe it would work as a beach coverup!?!

    Love the honest review of the dress! Even though your experience was horrible it made for some pretty pics and a good point for a blog post! So many people just buy from ppl recommend and most of the tome those people are being paid for their less than truthful review! Great job Elise!
