Guys, one week from today and it is the 4th!! 

I can not wait for next week, to just relax unwind and hang at at the beach. My absolute favorite time of year! Fireworks, cookouts, biking and lounging at the beach are my jam. 

Usually by this time I have posted multiple Fourth of July looks and recipes for fun and festive recipes, but i just have not had the time this year.

These past few weeks have been so crazy with the end of school, and everything that goes along with that, a Bar Mitzva, an out of town baby shower to celebrate one of my besties and all of this without my two helpers.  My parents have been in Italy for 18 days celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

 Can you even believe that?!? FIFTY YEARS!!!

What an accomplishment! 

Hopefully we will all be able to celebrate at the beach over the Fourth!

The Happiest of Thursdays to all of you!! 

Especially because tomorrow is the first day of Summer!! 

I remember when I was little, on the last day of school, my mom and her friends would pack us all in the back of her covered truck (no seat belts) and drive into the city.  We would go for lunch, the candy store and walk around Faneuil Hall Market Place watching the live music and street artists.  It was always such a great kick off to Summer.  Now my son and I have a similar end of the school year ritual, we drive into Harvard Square and go to Boston Burger Company where we eat giant burgers, drink freak frappes and wander the square.  I was lucky enough to have two fun nights in the city with Nolan this week. I find when he wants to hang I take full advantage considering he is 12 and the time remaining that he actually will think I am cool enough to hang out with is dwindling.

On warm Summer nights there is nothing I want to wear than an easy shift dress.
This Free People dress is perfect and I know it will get a ton of wear thought the season.

It's almost Friday! WOO!

Free People has been one of my favorite brands since I was in high school and shopped at Urban Outfitters.  Their effortless, cool, boho, casual style is what I love, and although I can't wear head to toe FP anymore, because I am in my 40s, I still enjoy incorporating pieces into my current wardrobe

I have also always been so attracted to pink. Who's excited for the weekend?

The weather here is supposed to be amazing, perfect for my nieces graduation, my son's playoff baseball games and dance recitals galore. I believe my weather app said 'warm with brilliant sunshine', yes please!
On days like this, I love to wear light and breathable dresses.

Good Morning and happy first Tuesday of June!

I have been a little absent and I apologize, there is just so much going on. 

Hopefully over the next few weeks my schedule will die down a bit and I will be able to post on a more regular basis again.

One of the best things about being a blogger is working with great brands and exposure to fabulous services. I have had to the opportunity to collaborate with amazing companies and business while giving my honest review or endorsement.  I have had a handful of bad experiences in which
I have either hated a product, shipping has been awful, there was terrible costumer service, or complete misrepresentation of ability and service.  In those cases, I tend to not give a review or feature, I just opt to not post anything.
Then there are the occasions I am so pleased to drop a positive review or endorsement of something fabulous. That is definitely the case with New England Skin Center.

A few weeks back I was invited as a blogger to go to an open house at New England Skin Center.
Unfortunately I had a bridal shower that day and was unable to attend. I was so excited when they offered a service at a more convenient time.

New England Skin Center is co-owned by two women Tobi Baker-Daigle and Christine McMakin, two Aesthetic Specialists.  After decades in the skincare business, these two amazing women decided they wanted to combine their talents and open their own space.  The office is located in Massachusetts South Shore, not too far off the highway. When I entered I was greeted by both women in the most adorably serene office. The soft grey and blush color scheme is so calming and feminine, I just loved it!  Both Tobi and Christine were so professional, knowledgeable and made me feel so welcome and relaxed.

After taking a tour of the space, Christine and I settled into one of the rooms for my HydraFacial.
Truth be told, I had no idea what a hydrafacial was, but if it was going to make my skin hydrated, and supple, then sign me up!! Christine explained that the hydro facial isn't like a regular facial, it only lasts a 1/2 hour and they use HydraFacial machine. Only HydraFacial uses patented technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate.
