One of the biggest Fall trends is the thermal top. 

Crew neck, henley, empire cut, knotted or half tucked, this style is a casual look that is everywhere. 

 I have found myself in a pattern in which every time I see a thermal I want to buy it. 

I love them and they are such a great layer with the plummeting temps. 

Seriously you guys it went from 85 to mid forties in the blink of an eye.

Did any of you listen to the Yanny / Laurel soundbite?
My co-workers and I polled everyone that walked in and out of our office, including the postal and UPS workers. We were all split. I heard Yanny all day long, but in the evening I couldn't stop hearing Laurel!  What did you hear?

When the warm weather hits, beer gardens open all over the city. Such a fun way to spend some time outside, right? I had plans to go on Saturday, but it looks like Mother Nature may throw a wrench in our plans and make it cold and rainy. Boston is such a fun city in the Spring and Summer, not so much if the weather is crumby. 

Any suggestions from other Bostonians? 

I have always loved an all white look, but I have never quite been able to pull it off and not for lack of trying. There is something so clean and fresh with an all white look and with spring here, I thought I would attempt it once again. 

How do you feel about an all white look?

Good Morning Loves! 

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and Presidents Day.  I took a mini road trip to Mystic, CT this weekend to meet up with one of my besties, Lindsay. She lives in NJ and I do not get to see her nearly enough as I would like.  She was heading up to Mystic with her mom and 5 yo old son to go to the Aquarium. Although Mystic is two states away, it only takes and hour and a half to get their and we could not pass up the opportunity to see them.  After seeing the Julie Roberts movie Mystic Pizza countless times as a child, I felt like I already knew so much about the sleepy town by the sea, I couldn't have imagined I would fall in love with it like I did. I wish I took photos of the quaint downtown area, filled with boutiques and amazing restaurants.  The only thing I seemed to snap a shot of was, of course the real Mystic Pizza. We had an amazing dinner at a place called Bravo, Bravo on East Main, where I got a scrum-didli-umptious carbonara, which is my fave!  

The weather was super mild, perfect for walking around the out door Aquarium and down town.  I often find when I will be doing a lot of walking and site seeing I keep it simple. What is more simple than an all black look with sensible statement  booties?

Not the best photos, for sure, but I think that means we were having too much fun!
