Happy Thursday and last day of January!!
Can you believe we have made it through all 67 days of January? Well at least it has felt like 67 days! Today in the Northeast we are feeling the effects of the polar vortex that completely paralyzed the Midwest. In some parts of the Midwest it was way below zero, with the windchill it felt -70. What the What? Here in the Boston area it is cold AF, but definitely not as bad. We are expecting single digits with the wind chill -25. I actually just heard that these temps are worse than Antarctica, Siberia and Everest!! I hope you are all safe, and warm.
On a sad note, my son is getting his braces on today which is totally bumming me out. No longer will I look at his baby mouth, but he will have the brace face of a tween (insert crying emoji). I do however have a fabulous and fun weekend planned to get my mind off the fact we are steadily aging (insert bawling emoji). Hopefully the weekend will be culminated by a Superbowl win by the Pats!!
I have always had to really stretch to find something I like about winter. One of the redeeming qualities of winter for me, is sweaters. I especially love sweaters with fun detailing like the back of this one & the fact it falls off the shoulder is an added bonus. Offered in cream, brick, navy and red, I opted for this neon pink. I need to be bright and fun in this dreary, cold weather.
