Simple Shirt Dress

Happy First FULL day of Spring! 
Is everyone as excited as I am?

When shopping for Spring and Summer pieces, I always have to remind myself that we have a very small window of spring like weather. It goes from cold to super hot really quickly.  In the past I have suffered from seasonal amnesia where I have completely forgotten how cold, cold is and how hot, hot is.  It seems by the time June rolls around, I want to wear light weight airy clothing.   

I kept all of this in mind this year while stocking up on my warm weather wardrobe. 
I loved this dress, but it came with a belt tie. I don't love the way I look with a belted dress, so I opted  to leave it at home. I loved the look of a button down shirt dress.

    That is how the weather is here in St. Louis... we get very few 'perfect' weather days and it goes from cold to hot very quickly. And, lots of humidity. I just love this olive dress, olive is such a nice color on you! Those statement earrings are beautiful and I can't wait to get my bag out that looks similar to yours!
