Happy Tuesday!
How was your weekend? We were so spoiled two weekends ago with temps in the mid 60s and now we are in a cold snap with degrees in the 20s, YUCK!
In the northeast and other places that experience vast changes in weather, you need to stay on top of your skincare routine. You know how much I love and invest in skincare and when I heard about Intoxicated Cosmetics, I was dying to try it!
The packaging alone is so sexy.
The bottles, applicator, colors and fragrance are alluring and the serums are amazing!
The Story begins with Rachel Sommers, a self proclaimed girly-girl product junkie, living in NYC, working in an advertising job she did not love.
Like most girls living in the Northeast, a combo of stress and ever changing temps can do major damage to your skin and Rachel was no different.
After inquiring about anti-wrinkle serums she was told her best bet was Botox and that is when her quest began to create a line that would give maximum anti-aging results without the needle.
Intoxicated Cosmetics is custom formulated anti-aging skincare that uses synthetic variations of ectothermic animal venom as well as plant-based stem cells and a handful of other biomimetic peptides and natural ingredients to essentially bridge the gap between anti-aging injectable solutions and serums. Intoxicated is also the only venom-based skin care company in the entire world.
Snake Serum
The snake serum is perfect for normal to combination skin. In addition to Syn-Ake, a synthetic vapor venom this serum also contains extracts of Licorice, Green Tea, White Tea, Vitamins C and E, and an enzyme known as CoQ10.
Bee Serum
Created for Acne prone skin, the bee serum has anti-microbial properties that attack bacteria.
This serum is also packed with hydrating nutrients, as well as anti-aging benefits, collagen and elastin integrity.
Snail Serum
This anti-aging formula is ideal for extreme lifting and regeneration of your skin. Suitable for all skin types but it contains the most moitsure for super hydrating your skin.
I rotate the serums, and use at least one a day either in the A.M. or P.M.
These three serums all offer different results and I'm having a hard time deciding which is my favorite, but I am definitely loving the results. My skin is smooth, super hydrated and plump.
Head over to intoxicated cosmetics to read about Rachel's journey and the creation of this
innovative and cutting edge line. Also, be sure to read their informative blog and ingredient breakdowns of all the serums.
Which poison will you pick?
xx, Elise
