What accessories can you not live without?

...with white denim that is!  I refuse to abide by the age old rule of no white after Labor Day.  I will wear white all through the fall and winter, especially this pair of jeans.  I love denim and chambray in almost every form; a jacket, a vest, a dress, a shirt, but especially pants.  A bit of an obsession actually.  There was a time I would only buy designer denim, but over the years, I have found that some of my most favorite pairs are from Zara, and the pair I wear most frequently I purchased from the junior department of Nordstrom for $11!  This pair however is Rag and Bone, while a bit on the pricey side, worth every damn penny!

Half way through a new week already?  I haven't worn jeans in the better part of three months, but it feels good to get back into my Autumn routine and uniform.  As I mentioned in the previous post, one of my favorite things about this time of year is change is the weather and change in wardrobe.  Right now it is all about layers.  As I left the house this morning it was 45, and throughout the day it has warmed up to a balmy 85.  Breezy sweaters, denim and utility jackets and light weights scarves are perfect for this time of year.  I chose this airy, rolled collar cardi to give this outfit a little pop!

Hello!!  So, if you read my blog often, you know that I am constantly going on about the weather and my love for Summer.  I would be hard pressed to find something that brings me more pleasure than that of the Summer season and everything it has to offer (ie. the beach, parties, BBQs, sundresses and sandals, seeing friends and family more often, etc.).  That said,  every year I get the back to school blues.  Even though the weather will remain beautiful until the beginning of November, the days get shorter, the air more crisp and cool, and the ominousity of the inevitable, seemingly never ending winter looms.  It seems so silly, but one thing I do enjoy about the changing seasons is switching up my wardrobe.  By this time of year, I am ready for a change.  All the layers and light jackets, open toed booties and jewel tones, suede and leather have been calling my name... yes, I am suffering from a bad case of fall fashion fever!  How do you transition??
